The system of extracurricula activities helps the ISUCT students to obtain good education.

Art association "Sheremetev Centre" carries out versatile esthetic education of the students and directs a varied programme of entertainment, visiting speakers, social and cultural events, discussion clubs,etc.

The identity card of the "Sheremetyev Centre" and of the city of Ivanovo is the choir which was awarded the honorary right to be called "The People's group". The choir is the laureate of all-Russian and internatioanl festivals. Its concerts held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris, Stockholm, Berlin and many other cities abroad and in Russia were a great success.

More than 15 art groups are the members of the students' club which became a real youth centre for the students of the University. The students' club participates in various perfomances where the spectators enjoy the students theatrical group, dancing and folklore groups, circus studio, show-theatre "Come on", rock groups.

The University students' club was many times the winner of the regional amateur performances festival "The Students' Spring" and thus became a real leader among other higher schools of Ivanovo.

Numerous sport groups are very popular at the University. The students take part in various intramural and extramural sport events and often become their winners.

Doctors and qualified medical staff of the profilactic and health centre take care of the faculty members and students health. It has excellent medical equipment, comfortable accomodations and is considered to be the best in Ivanovo and the oblast.
